I am a natural light photographer which means most of the sessions I do are outside! There are so many beautiful places in Tuscaloosa that I recommend. Some of my favorites are the Captains Cabin at Northriver, The Presidents Mansion on UA campus, downtown Northport, the Episcopal church downtown, River Road, and Capital Park downtown. Of course I always open to coming to your home and doing the session in your backyard if you prefer!
I like to shoot without a lot of props because I want my beautiful clients to be the main focus. However, if your child has a favorite toy or stuffed animal then by all means, please bring it to our session. If this is a birthday session, then sometimes balloons or a smashcake are fun.
What to wear? This is a question a lot of clients have. If I am shooting your family, then I recommend wearing coordinating colors and nothing too busy. Sometimes all white can be hard to photograph but if that's what you prefer then we can make it work!
